Poppell's Pumpkin Patch

The weekend before Halloween we had some Tallahassee company. Ella had talked for weeks about getting to see her cousin Ansley and they were able to come for the weekend. Saturday afternoon we all loaded up and went to Poppell Farms in Odum. It was a pretty day, although a little windy. It has changed even in the few years we've been going, and it's fun getting to see all that Ella gets to do every year as she becomes older and taller.
Before we left for the pumpkin patch Ella was able to play with Ansley.

A conversation on all fours :)

Whoa, Mommy!

Beautiful Briscoe Big Girl

And they're off!
The girls loved racing the ducks.

How tall this fall?
She's growing for sure.

Aunt Katie and the girls

Ansley was trying to keep warm.

Ride 'em cowgirl! Ella really liked the bouncing horses . . .

. . . while the babies looked on.

Stylin' and Profilin'

Please don't feed the animals!
Unless you have no fear whatsoever for the safety of your fingertips, Eliza Briscoe.

What a fine group of bok-boks!
(in the words of Eliza)

Uncle Josh and our lil' cousin

The girls enjoyed riding this pipe. I mean, really?!?
All the money that is spent on toys . . . and all it takes is a pipe and some rope. :)

'Mon Daddy! says Eliza

Riding the cow train--always an Ella favorite.

Ansley's first cow train ride!

Hey Sissy!
We ended up with a little windburn, but everyone had a great time. We sure loved spending time with our one and only first cousin and can't wait to see them again. Happy Fall Y'all!
