The sweet baby girl that we brought home has quickly grown into a giggling, running toddler. She laughs and smiles all the time but is very short tempered and lacks patience like her father. Eliza says Mama and Dada, dog, cat, Jenn, Papa, Elmo; however, her two favorite words are BITE and ELLA! She loves to eat almost anything. In fact, my baby girl can put down a whole Happy Meal! She has the most incredible squinty eye grin where she shows those eight pearly whites. Eliza loves the water and animals as much as her older sister. She has pretty good rhythm and loves to clap and dance to music. She started walking at about 10 1/2 months and has tried to run and catch Ella ever since. There are no words to describe the pride and joy I feel every time she smiles at me. It has been an incredible year.
While her birthday was the day before Easter (last Friday), we decided to have her party this coming Saturday. Eliza’s Mema brought over her present yesterday afternoon. She is known at the Playhouse for being the dirt eater… so the girl loves a sand box (which is exactly what Mema got her). Of course, Ella loves to play in the sand too so the girls spent some time playing in the sand yesterday after supper.
Eliza has grown so much, as has our family. I can’t believe how much she has grown in a year, but I can’t wait to see her dig in to her own cake on Saturday.
